Build 2205 - beta version of the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, build dated 2005, but is already a transitional project. It was posted by user Loxotron on October 18, 2009.
Description
This version of the game has the most extensive storyline of all previous builds. The plot in general, is almost the same as in the versions of 2003-2004, but with more elaboration of storyline quests and side quests. As it was said - it is a transitional project. That is, it was from this assembly that the game began to move away from the old concept and approach the release one.
Plus of Build
- Driven to mind the plot;
- A wide variety of side quests;
- The game is stable compared to previous versions;
- Main menu created;
- Many features have been added. For example: weapons jamming;
- An unsophisticated yet working partner system;
Minuses of Build
- The atmosphere of the old versions of the game is lost. Reduced weather conditions and general contrast of locations;
- Some old features of the game have also been scrapped. For example - a helicopter circling from time to time on the Cordon.
Notes (edit)
- Locations have undergone major changes, both landscape and architectural. The game doesn't look like old builds at all. This is especially true for Cordon and the Dark Valley.
- The game has a large number of scripted "cutscenes", they are sounded, of course, by the Text to Speech
- The bar here, although it has a great similarity with the release version of the game, but it still has a transition to the Rostok plant - the location that has undergone the least number of changes.
