Magnet is a cut artifact from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. It appears in Build 1475 in the old X18 laboratory.

Overview

The artifact has almost the shape of a Veles detector. There are several of these in X18 (Build 1475).

You can't place it in your belt in Build 1475, because the inventory is used with text, not with a GUI. It's unknown what effects it can give. It weights 0.50 kg. The artifact levitates much like the other artifacts found in the game.
