The Secret camp is a location in the Cordon in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.

Overview

Located northwest of the Rookie Village, the camp takes the appearance of a depression cordoned off with barbed wire, surrounded with warning signs, which can be entered through an inflow pipe that leads into a dirt plane with trees on the outer perimeter, a collapsed tree in the center, abandoned inflow pipes, portable bulk liquid containers and refuse scattered in the area, forming a small maze. The area is highly radioactive.

A small camp has been set up in the vicinity of the depression, and is occasionally visited by stalkers in both games.

Appearances

Shadow of Chernobyl

When approached for the first time, a nearby Flesh will run into a Whirligig anomaly outside the camp in eyeshot of the entry inflow pipe and Sidorovich will contact the Marked One and alert him to the risks of entering an anomaly's vicinity.

In the builds, the camp was the location of a tutorial mission for Sidorovich, requiring the player to obtain a Stone Blood artifact from the camp and giving it to Sidorovich for a reward. The quest was scrapped from the final release.

Clear Sky

The camp doesn't play an important role in the game. A rookie squad can be found there, but they will eventually wander in the Cordon after the loot has been returned to Sidorovich.

The camp offers two Jellyfish artifacts, one next to an inflow pipe and the other in a blue and white lunch pail sitting on a green chest.

The following stashes are found in this location:

• Safe in pipe
• Case behind junkyard - contains the Flash drive with data on an electronic stabilization system for shotguns
• Major Khaletskiy's stash
