Laboratory X-7 is a location featured at the Generators in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It is also seen in two of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl's ending cinematics and is mentioned in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.

Lab X-7 is featured in both endings following Strelok's conversation with The Representative in the Monolith Control Center, whether the player accepts the offer or not. Only the part of laboratory containing the room with O-CTA tubes is visible.

Call of Pripyat

Laboratory X7 is only mentioned in the Order of Transfer found inside Lab X8, which states that all research from Lab X8 related to the noosphere had been relocated to X7 on an unspecified date. Among the researchers that were transferred are N. A. Lebedev, E. F. Kalancha and V. I. Suslov, the founding members of Clear Sky.

In Stalker 2 it is revealed that the laboratory is located underneath the main Generators complex north of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. It is the location of C-Consciousness pods named O-CTA. On June 10th 2006 at 01:24 an experiment occured here that spawned the Zone.

In the Skif and Strelok endings, the game concludes within X7 with Skif or Strelok entering Kaymanov's unused O-CTA pod.
