Noon is not Monolith. We make our own choices now.
Noontide (ukr. Полудень, ru. Полдень), also known as Noon, is a clan of former Monolith fighters who have banded together after their brainwashing weakened. They appear in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
Background
After the events of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, the Monolith's brainwashing began to weaken. The once-fanatical fighters wandered the Zone without purpose. One such squad was Strider's, later helped by Major Degtyarev, and would later end up forming Noontide after Faust found him.
In the years that followed, the group set up base at Wild Island, alongside taking over the Waste processing station, surrounded by chemical anomalies and water.
In 2013, Noon took part in the D4 agreement, potentially alongside Operation Zenith. It is said that they agreed to do unspeakable things.
By the events of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, a rift has formed in the faction.
Due to their past as Monolith fighters, many in Noontide have weak Psi-resistance and can easily succumb to Zombification.
Equipment
Usually Noontide members use their usual ex-monolith equipment (which can be found here), such as the Monolith Suit (Or the Zircon Suit), Monolith SEVA (Or the Wanderer Suit), Radiation Suit and the Exoskeleton (The Diamond Exoskeleton).
