Garik (Гарик) is a minor character in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

Background

Bouncer at the bar. Or the Barkeep's bodyguard if you wish. Nothing is known about his present or his past.^{[non-game. 1]} He is Zhorik's twin brother.

Appearances

Shadow of Chernobyl

He appears in Shadow of Chernobyl as a bouncer who guards the entrance to the kitchen in the 100 Rads bar. Garik cannot be interacted with and if one approaches him, he will simply tell the player off.

The following lines play whenever the player approaches Garik.

Trivia

• One can actually force entry inside the kitchen by pushing a crate near the outside of the bar entrance and move it towards Garik. He will then be shoved into the space behind him, allowing the player to proceed. In fact, Garik will actually move out of the way, allowing access to the player, and proceeds to guard the kitchen entrance after the player leaves.
